Is the Mgm Grand Skybox a good place to stay?

Although I've always wanted to,I've never visted Las Vegas.Im always looking through the internet pages for the hotel/casinos and the place I would want to stay is the Mgm Grand.I dont know why;maybe its just the history of the place.They have many rooms and suites,but their ultimate,super-luxury place to stay is a top-floor penthouse called the Skybox.Would that be a first-class place to stay in Vegas?
