Its a learning process. Talk with the Parents check what you can do and what works Best for you and the Kids. Every child is differnt. Im working in a Kindergarten in germany with 19 children in my Group from 2-6 years. So Yeah everyday something new. Be patienced and Show them you like them and they will Start liking you. Show them they can trust you and one day they will Look up to you. Working with children takes time.
You were probably too kind with them, its nice to be like that but you need to toughen up as well. Look at it as good experience for the future, hope all goes well with the job when you get it 🤗
