I Would Love To Write

I love you, doesnt suffice
for I love you more than mere words couls ever convey,
I love beyond reason, beyond human comprehension;
for its sin, dark and inviting, frowned on, forbidden
my love for you is beyond madness and belief,
unrealistic in its essence
I carefully tread the road not taken, full of thorns and scorn
for its an impossible union

you are the star in my life, sun to my earth,
my world revolves around you, you control my day and night,
you shine in my life, like a burning light,
bright and beautiful.. drawing me like a moth to a flame
only to singe my wings then wither away

I'm like the ocean at night, velvety calm on the surface, high tides at the end
hiding currents of emotions and doubts, churning in my depths.
creeping and killing me a little each day
I hold on to faith, and hope beyond hope, maybe someday it will pave the way
someday when oil and water will mix and stay, not seperate at the end of the day

but thats a feat not possible or real, just like my dreams that disappear,
like the mist in the sun and dew in the day
every beautiful little thought keeps me going
for rainbows are just a trick of light hitting raindrops the right way.
a miracle waiting to happen if only I believe it may.
