It's Where I Live

Where I live, the mountains are not high and jagged. They rise steeply from the valleys cut long ago by ice but they are beautiful. Rising above the tree line. Coloured by bracken and heather and by the shattered rocks that crown their summits. Folding away into the distance so on a clear day you can see the whole of my country and a few others too.

Are you by the Rhondda valley
@nevergiveup Not so far away. I was describing Cwm Tawe.
@LilirWyddfa Ok i have a friend that lives in the valley and i go to see him sometimes
@nevergiveup Cwm Tawe is not so far away. Just a short drive to Hirwaun then down through Mountain Ash!
@LilirWyddfa Its a nice drive
Yes it is. I love when we come through the Neath Valley and in the early morning the mists are swirling through the trees. And coming down from Aberdare until we get to my sister’s college in Pontypridd. And then the excitement of going on the train to Caerdydd! @nevergiveup
@LilirWyddfa Lol i am a Worcestershire man so i am sorry i dont know the names of the towns and villages. I just put his house in the sat nav and go where i am told
@nevergiveup Ok. Well maybe you noticed you entered another country?
@LilirWyddfa Not sure what you mean
@nevergiveup Worcestershire is not in Wales!
@LilirWyddfa I never said i lived in Wales. My friend lives there and i go to visit him
@nevergiveup Please let’s not get political. We live in different countries. But the same tiny dot of a planet in the same tiny dot of a galaxy.
