I Live In An Old House

I'm not sure how old this house is, but everything has been falling apart lately. Unfortunately, my mom and I are only renting a room in this house, so there isn't much we can do besides tell the owner (my mom's friend who also lives here), but the owner usually ignores problems until they become giant expensive problems. And the owner recently spent a crap ton of money to renovate one of the rooms, but it would be wiser if she just tears down the house and rebuilds it completely, or if she finds a newer house. It's good that my mom and I plan to move out by the end of the year so we won't have to be here when it completely breaks down.
