In what year will we eradicate flies and mosquitoes?

Not anytime soon. Many scientists don't want to eradicate them completely only because we're not entirely sure what kind of domino effect their absence would have. It's not like we can just bring them back right away.

Many want to just genetically engineer those pests to make them unable to spread disease. It's less of a nuclear option than just obliterating them. It's not something that we're all in agreement about, at least not as scientists are concerned

We are getting close to getting rid of all the bees so I suspect not too much longer now

Never. They will outlast the human race.

Hopefully by the time we find less annoying and more sanitary ways to replace the small purpose they serve.
