I'm such a dolt!! I should have changed the boot order and turned off secure boot before running a system check.🤦‍♂️

I've been trying for 3 days to get a response out of this Dell XPS 2710. I almost scrapped the motherboard but then it suddenly responded. If I can get back into it, I think I can fix it, but as of now it's just a really nice monitor.

Not sure how changing the boot order would have allowed a system check to destroy your system.

@Northwest The system was already refusing to boot before I got it. I didn't change the boot order, if I had changed the boot order I could have used a Linux distro to get in and look at things.

@UnderLockDown I am still not following you. Are you doing a BIOS/UEFI system check?
