rotting tinned food

@Lanyx can was sealed with salted sardines in brine when i purchased it 2014 with 6month expiry.....

@KA9ha Open it, smell it. If it smells normal, then enjoy it.

@KA9ha Place the tin & contents in a zip loc baggy and throw in your garbage. If you don't have deodorizing garbage bags but have Lysol, spray it around.

It states canned sardines are good 3-5 years after it's expiration date. Yours are on the complete end of the "good until" date. If it were me, I wouldn't take a chance. You don't need to screw up all the time you've spent staying at home with the possibility of having to go to the hospital for food poisoning.

@KA9ha they always smell terrible though, they taste... not too bad, especially when you are hungry.
