Never heard of him.

@Steve42 he made a computer operating system which he believed could be used to commune with God.

What's interesting about his creation is that is contained an assembler, compiler, kernal, and a whole host of other features: 64bit, supporting modern hardware as it released, etc. The os itself was no larger than 2 megabytes in size. It's a work of art.

I posed the question because of his schizophrenia. He believed the ira were at war with the cia in Las Vegas. He also believed the cia were trying to kill him because of his os' power to commune with God.

In actuality, he made a random number generator that put words, phrases and Bible verses together into an incohesive paragraph. He managed to convince himself that these were gods words. They were just numbers drawn out of a hat.

He was a true genius, but mental illness put a strain on his creative abilities. He eventually committed suicide on August 11th 2018 by jumping in front of a train.

I often wonder what could have come from his work, from his genius if he wasn't held back by schizophrenia.
