That's pretty clever. Might not trim grass cleanly, but it would probably work well on the tall rough spots, weeds, etc.

I use push bike break cable. Just don’t go near aluminium fences 😁👌

Make sure the lengths are equal. Or the balance is off 👍

I tried them on my garden shears, Patti and...ohhh...they didn't work...they didn't work....!!
