@PlumBerries I bet there is some really weird stuff down there, like in the Marianas Trench.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
[c=#7700B2]hopefully one day it is discovered what is down there[/c]

There's evidence that there were some scary-like, enormous 👀 creatures down there at one time or another, right? But what proof does one have that they're all gone?
The Loch Ness monster story might have actually involved such a creature that was thought to be extinct.

[c=#7700B2]exactly.. who knows what is far down there[/c]
romell · 51-55, M
@Andrew19EightyFive nice scarey pic
DanielChristensen · 46-50, M
What has been discovered in the darkest depths are beings of anti light, by that I mean having evolved to survive without sunlight, making them very different than us, ergo monsters. I'm sure you've seen some of them.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
[c=#7700B2]on youtube and stuff yeah but I'm sure there is more down there[/c]
DanielChristensen · 46-50, M
@PlumBerries I tend to agree madam.
plankter979 · 51-55, M
Yeah, people and/or AUVs have been to many of the deepest spots including the deepest of them all, the Marianas Trench. But it doesn't mean Cthulhu's not lurking out there somewhere....
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
@plankter979 always that possibility
Randall · 26-30, M
I -love- to think about stuff like this. Or the possibility that there's sea life on other planets, even. Good to meet a kindred spirit!

The living creatures that will survive us.

@PlumBerries
Yus. Future life will evolve from them.

[c=#7700B2]unless we destroy the planet before hand of course [/c]

@PlumBerries
The planet will likely outlive us. Lives have been destroyed before us, and we will follow those examples, but the planet will keep existing long after we are gone. We do create our own extermination as species however.

i think it has been mapped by miniature subs so guess nothings un chartered
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
[c=#7700B2]I didn't think they could send anything down that far because of the pressure[/c]

A robotic vehicle named Nereus has made one of the deepest ocean dives ever — 6.8 miles (10,902 meters), a team of scientists and engineers reported yesterday. At this depth, Nereus was able to explore the Challenger Deep — the ocean's lowest point, located in the Mariana Trench in the western Pacific.

cool pic but that isn't right down in the deepest part of the ocean, otherwise that guy wouldn't last long down there... again cool pic though
