truth to this. when i “hated” my ex (and i really felt that i did) it was easy to keep boundaries and not question anything between us. when we started chatting 2.5 years later that equillibrium got thrown out the window and effed me right up. i stopped hating him and in a way that’s good but hating him meant i didn’t stand a chance to get hurt by him again.

@NiftyWhite I have a pit of emptiness that won't go away. If I hate everyone then I won't be bothered trying to fill it. Its the only way i think i can kill the pain.

for me was the same. i get it. also he was a jerk to me in the very end so hating him seemed right
