I Am Addicted to Beauty Products
Okaaaay I understand that if I wasn't aware this is life!!..Then I'm stupid!!...But I've worked in retail as well, so obviously we all know, what they're all out to do!!...I'm just underlining the one thing I totally can't stand!!!
I totally love them, but...one thing I can't stand is, when seeking advice,..proper advice!!! or trying to find solutions when I'm away out on a shopping trip is ..................
Retailers and sales people..whether it be beauty, or makeup..want to promote their new products, or simply sell sell sell!!!..And I just want truthful, helpful advice!!
I went to a makeup shop for a new liquid liner..she tried hooking me on to something new..at the front of the shop..I would advise this!!!...Top Top favourite!!!..And learning from my mistakes when asking for advice, I took the pen home and the tip was dry, barely made a mark!!
I went to a place to get my usual eye serum and cream, along with face night, and day care...I thought, stick with what you know this time!!?, Does it work??..YES!!...The girls goal was definitely to promote, and make their new product their number 1...I then just said, I'll stick to what I know already works, what I originally came in for!!!
She then gave me a voucher out, saying buy this, this, and this..you get this!!!...And I still just wanted, what I came in for....She then said!!!!.....This New one is clinically proven..And the others arent!!!....So What??..You lied the whole time before then???...I took a break from my favourite brand..looked round the shop, found a shelf, with the things I wanted, same brand, just not at their main area...And guess what?? ...every bottle said "Clinically Proven"....
I'm going online, searching far and wide for advice...applying for makeup courses because I know they'll benefit me..because they're not out to promote anything..But with all the amazing things you can find on the high street..I can't ask them for advice, there is no trust! Xx
