I Have Sisters

Third biological is going to take two of our younger adopted sisters (18 and 14) to see The Blair Witch movie. I think that's what's happening because I got a text about how they were "geeking out" in front of a movie poster.
It's funny to me. They love horror movies. That comes from the 14-year-old's time with her biological mom. They always watched horror movies together. That kid isn't afraid of anything except spiders.
The two of them are best friends. It's adorable how inseparable they are. The times they have had to be apart, they would constantly bring each other up and comment on behalf of one another. "She would have wanted to do that too." "She can't eat that stuff." "She would have said..." blah blah blah.
They're so funny. Third biological is a dork though. She can't handle horror movies. I don't know why she thinks it's a good idea to take them to see that. She probably won't sleep for a week after watching that. It's probably just because they think she's cool and she doesn't want them to change their minds. 😆

Those two are so different from the adopted sister staying with me. She trusts guys more and always seeks their approval. She sees our brother-in-law as more of her father figure than our dad. 18 and 14 don't. They don't like guys telling them what to do. He had and they preferred only to deal with third biological. (confused yet? Sometimes, I forget who is who. Too many sisters)
They didn't have men in their lives before my dad. Well, the 18-year-old had but in her eyes, they took her mom away and her mom wasn't safe with them.

They're such interesting people. Sometimes, they'll talk to me about their lives before being adopted. They trusted me enough to say. I know 14 likes to talk about her mom and life before but is afraid people will judge her mom. I don't because the kid's feelings are too important. I told her that she's the only one who knows her mom and her judgment is the only one that matters. Apparently that was an acceptable thing to say because she'll still talk to me about her life before.

18 doesn't remember much. They'd been homeless but she was so young at the time that it hadn't registered how bad their situation was until the cops got her to CPS.
Hmm...no wonder they aren't afraid of horror movies.

Edit: apparently they want to see the movie with me. I'm not gonna be able to sleep for a week after. 😱
