I'm Stubborn
I'm a bit on the stubborn side.
When I give my word or have a duty to perform, I'll do just about anything to keep or fulfill it. I don't give my word often, but when I do it means I'll move heaven and earth to do what I've promised. If I've accepted a duty, I'll finish what I've started, no matter what the price.
When someone pushes me, they often find I don't push very well. When someone gets my back up, I don't budge. It doesn't happen often, but I've run into a few bullies over the years and I don't give when they challenge me. I may not enjoy conflict, but I am not afraid of it either.
When I want something, I do whatever I must do to achieve that goal. I will learn new skills, build a team to help me find the solution, or work harder and longer until success is at hand.
I am especially stubborn when it is the right thing to do. When I am given one hard path of right and several easier ones that are not right according to my moral compass, I will do the right thing no matter how difficult it is or how many try to tell me to compromise.
Yes, I am a bit stubborn. I wait because I said I would. I wait in spite of the doubt, the logic of giving up, and the probability of her not returning. I'm not sure when I'll give up, but until the day dawns when there is no hope, I'll wait, and I'll hold onto my stubborn nature.
