I Need Advice With A Guy Situation

Okay, so there's this guy I like who I can't really tell likes me back. We're not in the same year, so we don't have any classes together, but he'll stop to talk to me in the hallways regularly. We share a lot of common interests so we've had a lot to talk about. We've even exchanged emails a couple of times.
So, if he were a normal guy, I'd say yeah, he probably likes me - but he's one of those friends-with-everyone sort of people. So it's kinda hard to tell if I'm just one of his wide assortment of friends, or.... you know.
