My statement about calling shotgun being exactly like calling dibs is correct by definition. However, the opposite is not true, which I never said it was.

@LvChris Dude. Riding shotgun =/= calling shotgun. Calling shotgun is laying claim on riding up front. "I call dibs on sitting up front" = "Shotgun!" I can easily find the context on Google. This is so silly.

@LvChris The first person to call shotgun gets to ride up front. The first person to call dibs on something gets it. If I said I call dibs on riding up front in a general context it's interchangeable. Which is all I ever said. This is all you trying to save face for trying to correct me in the first place. My logic is absolutely correct and you can't and haven't said why I was wrong.
