I Am The Way I Am Because Of What Ive Been Through
Reality
Though I stand tall with pride,
This is a lie,
A mask I hide behind,
It's a wall I hold in front of me so the people in reality think it's impossible to hurt me.
There is a major problem showing it's ugly head,
The truth was exposed,
The mask slipped off,
The wall cracked and crumbled,
The vulnerability became known.
Then the people of reality closed in tight,
They stole the air,
Soon they began to take out their knives,
I was cornered and defenceless,
I closed my eyes,
I took a breath as a person from reality struck out with their knife.
I was done for and I was doomed,
My one regret is that I let them hurt me so much that I wanted to die.
