@uncalled4 expensive. I always wondered if folks up north had special tires but I never asked for not wanting to be labeled "stupid" so thanks. Now i know they do.
@uncalled4 i got a purge valve replaced weeks ago. Check engine light went off. Now its back on and my car shut off twice. I was attempting to goto the grocery story but didn't make it. The reader machine says the same part is the problem
@iamnikki Sounds like your mechanic fixed the effect and not the cause. Good thing you have the reader. Only time you're really screwed is when it's the ECM itself.
@uncalled4 i don't know. He fixed two purge valves. I dont know the difference. When it cut off, the oil signal came on. So there's a leak somewhere. I thought one of the purge valves was supposed to fix that.
@iamnikki Geez. Maybe try someone else. At least you're home. I once had my starter fail on my way to a gig with the car full of drums. That was no picnic.
