People ask me if I feel terrible about Putin or want to live away from Russia. No

I have a life style my parents can only dream of. I have a nice home, I work, I go on vacation in other countries, I drive a good car, I can afford to blow money on a good time with my friends and still save.

Putin wants to stay in power? Let him. Our economy is improving year on year, public services is getting better all the time, we have more friends internationally than ever before and nobody is brave enough to threaten us head on. To lead the biggest country on Earth, to not submit to outside pressure to be clone of somewhere else - it takes a strong leader to do all these things. And we’ve got one. I think most of the haters are jealous they don’t have a someone who defends their nation as energetically.

So don’t worry, I’m fine, happy, not worried and not caring what the critics say. 🇷🇺✌🏻

@BluntSm0ker The thread was going nicely until comments that one part of the world lacks culture and traditions while another part of the world has culture and traditions. That's a kind of senseless statement that ruins the whole attempt of the thread to promote Russia. Total fail. Now it begs the question: Is that what Russian people think of the world? Holy cow.

@uncleshawn I think you have to remember Russia is a very big place. Lots of people, city people and rural people. Everyone has differences same as any large country. There are some who like the west some who hate the west and plenty who don’t care as long as it doesn’t badly impact them.

@BluntSm0ker Wow. If this is a general Russian thing to believe/say, I am gonna have to re-evaluate my opinion. Like I said, this thread was going so well, until....

@uncleshawn There are no general things to say. If you start generalising the whole thing becomes pointless

@Lapochka Yes, this is reasonable. ....I find quite big differences in every country between big city people and countryside people. Those differences inside a country are often bigger than difference between countries.

@Lapochka Tell this to Mugin16. I am making the point that if people are hearing from Russians what Mugin16 is saying, then of course they will look suspiciously at Russia, and even wonder if people there have basic sense. Your poor thread was going so well....

@uncleshawn He’s a different guy. It’s not different to 2 Americans disagreeing over Trump and Biden
