I Hate My Red Dot Sometimes

Omg, Yes... Banish The Dots!... ...And I have only just worked out that it's my 'Adult' status that's getting in the way, especially since some of those I wanted to add seem pretty... mature, themselves. That said, there are some freaky people around here!

Is the "red dot" the dot that accompanies this advisory? ~~You have disabled adult filtering, and may be exposed to mature content. You may change your settings at any time. (I copied that from your profile page, Claudia.)~~ I'm pretty sure I must have that, too. I don't want to have any content, mature or otherwise, censored, and I'm pretty sure I adjusted all of my "settings" to reflect that. I can decide for myself what to read or see. But I don't understand from reading your story what the drawback is from having that setting on my profile. What am I missing here?

Well, then ... I don't have any need to let someone else determine what I can or can't be "exposed" to, so I'll just wear my red dot proudly, and whatever happens happens! And if someone isn't able to read our stories or get to know us because we're branded with some silly red dot, that's just toooooo bad. ppppbbbbfffftttt!
