Okay. I get it. I'm a horrible Nazi Trump supporter, but some of the blocks I've gotten recently have me very confused!

People I've known for a decade, and never had a problem with? What in the hell is going on? I mean, I'm not losing sleep over it, but I wish I could make some sense of it.
SW-User
I have got a few of those as well.
I don't know why?
But, I do know that real friends stick with you or at least talk to you about stuff, they don't just block.
Random strangers I don't lose on minutes sleep over.
Their presence makes no difference in my life in any way, shape,or form.

For whatever reason, many seem to be getting angrier and angrier over the Trump win instead of finding a way of accepting their party's loss. I don't know. Makes no sense to me. I wouldn't worry about it. You're probably better off not dealing with those who have blocked you.
therighttothink50 · 56-60, M
When you come to realize that the people on the left are intolerant for the most part, it gives one solace. You see, they only like you if you agree with them and or stifle your own opinion to let tyranny thrive. You see people like you puck force these leftists to look in the mirror. They are then forced to confront their own illogic, it makes them very angry. You can't help people like this, they need to self-examine their own conscience. But most of these people have buried their conscience long ago. Stand by your convictions and if people do not respect those convictions, they were never real friends to begin with.

@GypsyKing as simple as that

I'm sorry that's happened to you puck. I've been down sizing my circle of friends because I had so many I never hear from. Then out of no where on woman jumped all over my ass for removing her, she thought it was another reason and I just wasn't saying?!😕 I told her, "see there, if you knew me you'd KNOW I'd say why if it was another reason?!" The friends list can mean different things for different people. I don't feel the need for it, I just talk to who ever wants to talk to me, that's good enough.😉✌🏼 I won't say who I voted for on here, religion and politics unfortunately ends many friendships. After the elections people that had been friends forever where kicking each other out of their circle. I found that really disturbing and sad.😞
@Peaches Yes, it is. Thank you.
Valentine · M
There be gangs and gangs of blockers out there, there beeeee. One day, them will realise twas all a biiiig mistake, no mistakin'...
Valentine · M
@Dlrannie Ha-harrrr, Jim-lad. There be parrots on them there shoulders, there be... Pieces-of-eight, pieces-of-eight... ;)
Did I ever tell you my daughter was pencilled in (ie. "that close") to getting the part of Demelza in Poldark... but then, she wouldn't have gone over to do Route 66 last year, and she would never have 'met her man from Tennessee' (wedding in two weeks, as I think I might have mentioned, once or twice ;) )
Dlrannie · 31-35, F
@Valentine Gosh an almost celebrity daughter - I'm impressed. Err yes you have slipped the wedding bells news in to a few of your questions and answers - good luck to her 🙂
Valentine · M
@Dlrannie She was in a previous drama series with Aiden Turner :)
snowbelt · 61-69, M
You and I have had our differences of opinion, but they are just that. I wouldn't think of blocking you no matter how exasperating it may be on occasion. I can't understand why people would block you either.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
Don't pay any attention to those people who block you. They are incapable of carrying on a discussion anyway. You really haven't lost anything by not being able to read their posts. You and I can always carry on a spirited discussion! lol. And I still owe you a beer.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@puck61 Too funny. I still have mine too, though for some reason it doesn't fit quite as well as it did at 18.
@windinhishair Mine wouldn't fit either! In all honesty, I don't 'really' have it. I was clowning.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@puck61 I really do have mine--two of them, one for sports and one for academics. Actually, now that I think of it, I have three--another one from a separate HS I went to through my sophomore year. And none of them fit. lol
Valentine · M
I find it similar in 'real life' with those who voted 'to remain' in the Brexit referendum. They are still fair fuming some of them.
Valentine · M
@Dlrannie LOL. Take care. Off out now to see Around the World in 80 days.... See you soon. T.
Dlrannie · 31-35, F
@Valentine Be good and if you can't enjoy yourself 😏
Valentine · M
@Dlrannie Thanks :) It's outdoor, so staying dry and warm will be the first consideration :(
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
If they do that then they were never real with you in the first place... despite being in your circle for a long time.

Real people talk it out despite differences. Blocking is just a sign of insecurity.

You do you Puck :)
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@DethComesRipping LOL hey! I can give good advice but I only choose to be serious with particular people. My nickname is the title of a book. I couldn't think of anything at the time.

@DethComesRipping I like the Misfits 👍
MetalGreymon · 36-40, M
I think it's because you say stuff like trump is the best president america has ever had.
Smacks of fanatic delusion.
It's off-putting.😉
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@puck61 Ok , we're both lying then.
@RodionRomanovitch not lying, just hyperbole and tunnel vision. Maybe both of us...
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@puck61 I may have paraphrased but I wasn't being hyperbolic.
AbbeyRhode · F
*sigh* Unfortunately blocking doesn't keep sick, vindictive trolls from posting their abuse.

Their loss Puck.. Conservatives are supposed to keep their mouths shut.
I've had the same thing happen to me but from Trump supporters. My good friend from the military won't communicate with me at all after he asked me what my thoughts on Trump were. I don't get it, some people take this stuff way too seriously
SW-User
I made a dark joke and that caused the man babies to go batshit crazy and block me, tools really 😂
sogdianrock · 61-69, M
hi puck61
Its the horrible Nazi Trump Supporter angle I guess.
Best wishes
:)
Dlrannie · 31-35, F
Much as I dislike Trump and feel he is not good for America or the world you have your right to your own opinion. I would never contemplate blocking you or anyone else for holding a view that is different to mine.
Don't lose sleep over it.. Irrespective of ones opinions people on here have gone block crazy... They should find themselves a nice warm fuzzy place and collectively have a block party...

The nazi party fell quick too. Way of the world my friend

divide and rule. lotta that going around.
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
You might try reflecting on the fact that you started throwing around rather unpleasant , and unprovoked , personal insults at those who dared to criticise your messiah. People generally aren't too impressed with that kind of behaviour.
@RodionRomanovitch Okay, anecdotal stuff, perhaps. I'm not even in the running when it comes to 'poop flinging' though.
berangere · 80-89, F
How silly to call a trump suporter a Nazi, they are nothing of the sort this is leftards nonsense.I too often wonder what the hell is going on.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@berangere He's poking fun at himself as a Trump supporter, and I can assure you he is far from a "leftard". Pay attention and read the post next time.
berangere · 80-89, F
@windinhishair I did not call him a leftard and I know he was poking fun at himself as a trump supporter because I too support Trump. This is what those "Progressives" call Trump supporters : Nazis. So you jumped the gun.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@berangere That's too bad, but at least for now, it is a free country and you are free to support whoever you want to.
lorne13 · 61-69, M
It's becoming clear to many that trump is a big danger to the US economy and reputatuon, so this reaction is not surprising
@lorne13 Interesting that the market soared at the very prospect of his win.
WoodyAq · M
Maybe you are making excuses for collusion with the Russians. Treason can be a "wedge issue" ...
WoodyAq · M
@puck61 no. You probably wouldn't. Go back to Moscow. The rest of us though...
Just looking for anything that will stick because your candidate didn't win the election. That's all this is.
WoodyAq · M
@puck61 actually I'm a Republican. But you know, one the ever decreasing number of Republicans who cares about national security.
Valentine · M
Don't tell them your name, Puck...
Ohh sh*t!!!
Sorry mate ;)

@puck61 Funnily enough she had the same problem . But I notice she has stopped now with all the vitriol (and the puerile memes ) after being called out on it.
@RodionRomanovitch That's the thing, pezza. A good deal of the anti Trump people believe they have the moral high ground, when the actions of so many reflect quite the opposite, but this really isn't about Trump. Thanks for your input. It seems that the general consensus is that it has to do with who I voted for and support.
