@PhoenixPhail I think a number of things cut into their business. There were some sites where people could download music for free online, and then amazon and some other sites came along too. Also, the Sam Goody where I worked for almost three years seemed to be a magnet for shoplifters, and they kept having to raise their prices to recoup the losses. I don't know about other Sam Goody stores, but I think that may have also been a factor in the demise of the Sam Goody store where I worked. I think it may have been a combination of all those things put together.
