I Am Fine

Isn't it okay for someone to be fine? Do you need them not to be fine? Why? I don't pursue someone when they say they are fine unless I KNOW they aren't, even then I usually won't. What does it accomplish? If it doesn't help then nothing. I feel there might be some out there that want you to pyrsue them when they say they are fine, but they could try to be honest/straightforward about it. Same for I'm okay or I'm good.
