I Was Smacked By Mum

Mum didn't put up with any nonsense. She believed thst boys especially needed plenty of discipline. She also believed in on the spot punishment. If I was naughty in front of guests, my shorts and pants came straight off and over her knee I went.
She had discipline to a fine art.

Exactly, the Mums lap was for that as was her slipper she was wearing.
