I Have No Tolerance For Deception

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2020/jan/25/george-soros-89-still-quest-destroy-america/ George Soros against America

Opinion piece from a far-right author. That ends on an apocalyptic note:
If children are the hope of the future, America’s children must be educated on the greatness of America — before it becomes too late and America, as a sovereign nation, hasn’t any future at all.
... not really credible.

He's mentioned by conspiracy theorists whenever anything occurs. They happen to take two shits in one day instead of one, it must've been Soros.

(Not that I defend the guy, but come on, he's definitely overused lol)

@Elessar That doesn't happen everywhere...

In the US right now, I don't see much respect for the parliament. And some of the cases in court (like the Flynn case) is just a way to mute justice in favor of a clique.

In Hungary, parliament was cut out of the equation during COVID. Because of a "state of emergency". A few years back in Turkye, "state of emergency" also caused heavy infrignment on peoples constitutional right by the executive branch that took control.

@Kwek00 Oh yes, I just hope there won't be other European countries following the Hungary and Turkey fate tbh. These so called "populists" are probably coordinated globally behind the stage, I can see similar patterns pretty much everywhere: same kind of fake news, same kind of fake patriotism as you mentioned, same extreme right-wing references, and they seem to support one another (or at the very least, never be in conflict).

@Elessar "coordinated globaly"? Nah... they have ties, but at the end of the day, these people never seem to like eachother. It's kinda hard to like other right-wingers when some of the concepts of the right wing say that: "your nation is the best nation, and all other nations are a threat to your nations prosperity". These things don't go together.

If you look at europe in the 19th century, the Berlin Conference (1884-1885), was a conference held to set up rules for nations to conquer Africa. This emperialism was largely driven by nationalist sentiments. The idea that their nation is the best nation and therefore should "educate" those that live outsides their nations grace. The reason why the conference was held, because a recently founded Germanny was afraid that all these nationalist sentiments would lead to a european War. ... which would come 30 years later.

If you go read books on right wing poppulism in Europe, you'll also see that poppulists only work together as far as their own nationalist sentiments allow it. The FN in Germanny for instance, actively worked against Flemish Nationalism... because they weren't French speakers. At the end of the day, these movements only back up the same side out of nescessity, not out of friendship for eachother.

That's pretty much the biggest danger of these movements... because they all have some idea that the other ones are out to get them, so there is constant paranoia and fear of the decline of the "grandeur" of the nation. This has lead to wars in the past. What this American author is saying isn't far off from the doomsday prophecies found in Evola, Guenon, Spengler, ... etc. It's all a reaction to decline of a romantic vision of the past, and therefore we should all stop progress. And if you are not with us, you are against us. She literally says that Americans backing up their own political ideas that aren't hers, are "Anti American". As the guy intervieuwing says: "It's a cancer". That's how fucked up these movements are. And that's why they are dangerous.
