Seek what YOU deserve..... [I Know You Deserve True Happiness]

I once hid all my sorrows beneath a facade of happiness. I believed if I made everyone around me happy, then that was enough, and in return, theirs could bring me my own. What a terrible ideology that was, especially when I felt as if I fell short of my efforts in doing such when they weren't. [c=800055]I was fooling myself, and in the process, destroying & depriving myself of so much in life.[/c] It was only when I embraced my authentic self; the one with many sorrows, then put myself first and sought what it was that I [c=800055]deserved[/c], I was finally met with the liberation of knowing such a blessing.

[c=800055]Hope is OURS to hold[/c], and not to be put into the hands of another. On that note, although I didn't go willingly into the light they offered, I'm eternally blessed for the the hands that led me there. Without them, I'd still be stagnant, and holding onto the mere thought of a thing called hope, while also a bit cynical to the belief that it even truly existed.

Not every day will bring happiness to any of us, because its just a feeling & [c=800055]all feelings are fleeting[/c]. So dwell in your sorrows as long as you need, and never deny them, as that damages the soul. But keep hope alive (a rational one) in your heart always, and never be a puppet with your emotions. [c=800055]Being true to yourself is a must,[/c] even if that truth comes from a deep well of sadness or even one of anger.

[c=800055]On another note: try to be the light in someones time(s) of darkness, but never push what isn't ready to be felt. Forcing happiness and positivity isn't healthy, nor is it a fruitful endeavor. It's unrealistic and can be toxic to those who merely need support.

@Indy74 I know I sound like a broken record at this point, but I'm not only happy, but blessed to have given you what was given to me. And you always give back no matter what, and sometimes tenfold. It's truly beautiful, the friendship that blossomed when kindness met in a collision on your sad post...❤🙏💫

You also put true meaning to my favorite poem by Lord Byron. Never forget that. Ever. This is the epitome of YOU🌺....

I sure have missed your presence, and have been a bit worried. But I realize you come and go at your pace; I don't fault you for that. Know you're only a mere thought away. Reach out if you need a little light.😉💖🤗🌺
