Probably because there are a lot of powerful and corrupt people about who have selfish motives but it doesn't make you stupid for noticing. The people with that power are in a minority though and history tends to show that the majority of good people always win out in the end.

if you listen to those people day in and day out you will start to think like them, its hypotising.

maybe listen to people who actually accept the official story and defend it instead? people who debunk that shit?
