I Love Storytelling

I have been thinking about this one today, I don't remember where I read it.

"Once upon a time in a little village lived a small boy that got sad because no-one would listen to him so he started to cry, but since no-one listened, no-one came to comfort him and so he kept crying louder and louder in the night.

After a while he cried so loud that the rainbow serpent, that once dreamt the world into existence, woke up. The rainbow serpent was hungry after it's long sleep and so it started to devour village after village until men banded together and killed it."

It's an oddly anticlimactic story but I still like it :)

It seems slightly like and Aboriginal Dreamtime story, because of The Rainbow Serpent, but there is a chance it isn't a dreamtime story with the way it is, but then again some of the stories aren't exactly bright

@Scourge: G'day! 😁 You seem to know a lot about the stories of the "First People". Have you thought about writing a post with them?

Not really, I don't really see much of a point in posting about my culture, it wasn't why I created a profile, and I doubt people would be too interested

@Scourge: Hmmm...seems rather odd but if you say so.
