I Am Not Racist

this group makes me angry because yeah you might not be blatantly racist but I’m sure you’ve contributed to the systematic oppression of poc at one time or another. get off your high horse and maybe start *actually* making a difference.

Nah. Instead, I'll tell you to stop looking for fake racism to blame everything on, take responsibility for your own life, and give up the identity politics.

@Issabels
i would happily educate you
No, you wouldn't. Also, who's the self-superior one now? It's not your job to educate me. You can share your beliefs and I'll evaluate them. Or you can make excuses for why you can't articulate yourself. But you're not going to "educate" me. Your arrogance doesn't sway me.
cared about what I have to say.
Another assumption and excuse.
you, the white man
Irrelevant and racist.
trying to tell me what is and is not racism is bs
No, its not bullshit. It's truth based on definitions. You just want to redefine what racism is to suit your own authoritarian ideology.
white people do not get to tell me what is and isn’t racist because they don’t experience it
False, and racist. White people experience racism.
end of story.
Again, false. I reject your authority to define my reality.

My patience is at an end. I've given you plenty of chances. If you just want the argument, then by all means, keep going. You'll lose because I know you're vapid beliefs better than you do. If you want to stop, then stop. If you want a real conversation, then start one. Your choice.

@Sicarium are you trolling me @ this point? you’re a joke.
@Issabels why waste time on someone who doesn't think there's systemic racism in the US. I mean their country literally colour codes their people. If he can't see that then he won't be reasoned with.

I always thought I wasn't racist, I don't want to be racist. But the older I get the more I realise how racism permeates every level and corner of our society and the only way to dismantle it is to realise that and to acknowledge the extent to which even our subconscious thoughts are affected by it.

Systemic racism does not exist. There's no system that is put in place for poc. If there was, then by that logic, black people and people of all races wouldn't allowed to be successful whether they're chairmen of companies or successful actors or writers or doctors or whatever other high paying jobs they have. That wouldn't happen if systemic racism existed. Stop making things up to suit your politics. I don't care about having different opinions. Fine. But you're spreading false information. Also, how do you know someone who is white doesn't experience racism? You don't know every white person in the universe, so what makes you assume that? I agree with everything that other guy said to you. But you seem like you just wanna stay in your echo chamber full of things you made up to push your politics. That is a very toxic thing to even do no matter what side you are on. I'm multiracial and even I must say I'm disappointed in you.
Issabels · 22-25, F
@IWasCallingYaLarry believe what you want but when white children start getting locked in cages, lmk. from internment camps to the bs trump is pulling today, it will always exist. if you cannot see that white people have a clear advantage then you are so in denial.
