There are millions of children in schools and very few of them get shot. That's like saying you won't let them play outside because they might get hit by lightning. Don't be so afraid. Probably the most important thing kids learn in school is social skills. They won't learn that at home.

@hunkalove they can learn those in homeschool groups, at church, sports teams etc. A kid doesn't have to go to school to socialize.

@Mountainlady16 I don't think it works like that. I was a kid once.

@hunkalove so was I and I attended both public school and private and spent the last 3 years of high school homeschooled. I learned ALOT better and faster at home where I wasn't held back by the slow kids.

@hunkalove my 2 year old can already count to 20, not only can recite the alphabet but recognize letters, can write his middle name which is what he goes by, and has a large vocabulary for his age. And he's barely 2 and a half and that's because I work with him.

@hunkalove theres other reasons not to send Christian children to public school. I don't my kids exposed to the immorality found in public school system today. Teaching kindergarten kids that it's OK to decide to be a girl when you're a boy. Kids from gay couples and divorced parents. How would I explain to my 5 year old why Jamie's got 2 daddies and no mommy for instance. No I want my kids to stay innocent until I decide they are mature enough to explain the immorality of today's world.

@Mountainlady16 And that's how you get people who can't adapt to change, and are threatened by kids with two dads 🙄
Mountainlady16 · 22-25, F
@QuixoticSoul no threat but my kids don't need to think such immorality is normal.
