I Love Ageless Wisdom

I am a strong believer in seeking ur own truth! Never allowing anyone to dictate on how u should feel, think or act! Following anyone is just being their shadow! With self love comes self respect! Practicing this may lead to respecting others even if u don't agree with their ideas! RESPECT is hardly shown to each other! Thinking that ur always right on any given issue stunts ur own growth! My point is that RESPECT for anyone or anything has been replaced with SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS! Instead of admitting we were wrong, some fight to push why they think they're right even if it kills them is mankinds new LOW! Follow truth and the Light & it will set u free of the trappings of self importance! Moving right along...

Respect is, it seems, something being replaced with entitlement these days. I agree with you on your points. Respect always even if you don't agree.

Yep. People should do their own thinking instead of blindly following someone else's ideas...

Love that word and it always reminds me of the old song as well 👍

well i kind of disagree! Respect does not come from you doing what you want to do, it comes from doing what is right irrespective of whether you wanted to do it...

i hope you do not meaning following is same as learning from others, else your proposition of posting this in ageless wisdom is an irony!

finally, being a non-conformist does not mean someone is rude, arrogant and/or insensitive.. some times one has to weather the comments of the society even when the society says they are wrong.

Kind of heavy, but just my opinion!
I@vss1234 I think u misunderstood me! Doing what's right goes without saying! Not doing what u like?! Doing what right for ur own physical and mental health! Ageless wisdom is wisdom nonetheless!!!

Being willing to learn, and as you point out admit when we are wrong are so important. Not nearly common enough, too.
