If all your wishes came true

Would they effect anyone's life but your own?

I would need the specification to not directly affect anyone else’s life with my wishes. That feels so wrong to me. A wish is like a binding contract that’s impossible to properly consent to. No one else needs to suffer my decisions there.

@Reject Interesting.

@Trippy Think about it. Even a well meaning wish like happiness. Let’s say someone wished for your happiness. Every bit of happiness you felt wouldn’t be your own. If would be the result of their wish. Where was your chance to get there on your own? Where’s your freedom? Your will? It was taken from you because someone else so selfishly decided what was best for you.

@Reject Perhaps an equation we often fail to consider.

@Trippy I can’t imagine a greater hell. Waking up one day to figure out that my entire life wasn’t my own. That I was never my own person. Every smile I shared with others. Every joy I experienced. All I the love I felt. Contrived. Forced. Fake. My existence was nothing more than a means to please someone who never considered what I would’ve wanted.
