I Am Against Racism

I am against both racism and multiculturalism.
Race is not something we choose. Belonging to one or other race does not determine our behaviour or our attitude.
On the other hand,culture does, and even if we grow up in a particular culture, as adults we can accept or reject it. We choose our culture, or at least the degree it influences us.
I don't believe in superior or inferior cultures, but I believe that, as they bring out different attitudes, they are not compatable more often than not, and therefore it is better they do not mix.

How can we choose our culture? It's ingrained in us from our birth. Not until we are much older...and only if we are aware of our cultural conditioning can we start to choose. However, not many have self awareness and depth of thought. Most run with the herd, and even those who develop self awareness are culturally conditioned to one degree or another at the subconscious level.

@Bresthingiseasy. You mean there is a rich elite with a western country, and poor indigenous people keeping their traditional cultures? And when you mean integration, you mean both have to give up in their identity to build a common ground?
I don't know much about Mexican society, Don't really know if the gap has to do with cultural reasons or it is purely economical.

Mmmm..... I will have to think about that . For instance , indigenous people in Mexico : isolated , poverty , not integrated . Same country for 3 centuries but yet , 2 classes of people . Wouldn't integration would translate in an improvement in quality of life ?

Culture may be ingrained from our birth, but we can make it our own to a bigger or lesser extent. Not everyone being born under the same vulture things the same.

Why stop at "culture"? Perhaps we should keep men and women apart too.
They're not always compatible either.

Men and women may be not compatible individually, in case a man and a woman prove not compatible they may divorce.
