I Am Against Racism

I really don't understand how someone could be racist, it sounds so stupid hating someone for their color, I just laugh at these stupid people. I look at it this way, I like all white, brown, black, Chinese people as long as your cool with me, I'm cool with you. Not saying I'd be racist if we weren't cool.

From an anthropological standpoint, singling out or being antagonistic to those that are different from the group, probably behooved the group as a whole. Although this behavior is shunned, or at least should be shunned, in modern society, it is still deep down in our primitive brains. It takes an evolved mind to understand that the way you look was determined tens of thousands of years ago by your ancestors who traveled out of Africa and slowly evolved/adapted to better suit their environment.

It sounds silly to congratulate you for using your cerebral cortex to make decisions, but realizing the huge number of racists that exist on this planet (especially in the US), I do, in fact, offer my congratulations.

Please don't take this the wrong way. They are not necessarily stupid, and if we don't try to understand then a lot of racism will never go away.

That's stupid! It's a learned behavior, put little kids of different races together and they'll be fine.
