I Am Young But I Feel Old

I feel as though this group represents a lot of clichés. Very few people truly "feel their age". I sometimes feel that external influences have forced me to mature long before I was ready, but after a lot of reflection, I've come to terms with the fact that I brought a lot of that upon myself.

I've had a college-level vocabulary since elementary school. It's a blessing and a curse.

@Sparkles: That's really cool. Did you consciously develop that vocabulary or were you just that kind of smart naturally?

I think I absorbed it from my environment. I actually liked watching documentaries as a kid, and the fact that I love to read really helped develop my natural affinity for the English language.
