@Puzzleofflesh: my kids matter, as well as my grandchild. my friends matter. but it's more than that. I believe that my life has purpose and meaning. I can make a positive difference in my own way. I can contribute something valuable.

usually, it's my writing. i tell myself it's ok to die, but only after i finish this book. then i start another book after that one is out there and start the process over. it's the only way i've been able to make it this long.
