Why do people prey on the weak, innocent and vulnerable?

I don't know why, maybe because it is satisfying to feel you have control over someone. Yeah, I'm gonna go with that. It's like the satisfaction you have over playing video games or using a remote control. You have power and control over things, and isn't that what we all want? The people who have more power and control over their lives seem to be happier. Bottom line, control is satisfying. It is a fact which none of us can deny. It has a dark side.

Because they are hurt and broken, in their own way.. We all deal with pain differently.. Remember it is about them and not you.
