Just knowing that a large percentage of humans are able to be genuinely entertained by simple repetitive flashing lights and loud noises that they've already seen and heard ten billion times is also psychological torture to the ones who aren't.

It's pretty torturous for some autistic kids as well. My collection is all sparks and showers that stay safely grounded. My dog hates the sky exploding
