Abuse comes in many forms...emotional abuse...it’s out there. I was with someone once that just terrified And terrorized me!
I was young and stupid....It’s in the past.
I’m only disappointed in myself a bit that I stayed and took it.

I married a Scot. I knew the job was dangerous when I took it.

Fortunately no abuse yet. Hopefully never. Neglect, now that I've had and I feel for anyone trying to struggle through it.

Indeed. People need to take it as seriously as they do the reverse and not shame anyone for reporting it.
