So many are talking about a new age, is the scourge of Covid19 really going to determine things as much as this suggests?

I'm studying H.R.6666 and artificial intelligence social distancing robot police dogs as we speak.

The moment it'll be over people will forget everything, you can bet it. Nothing will ever change permanently, not even in case of a second wave. Just like those who are for wild reopenings now, forgetting we were placing coffins inside churches until one month ago, because there was no more room for them anywhere else in the range of 400km.

@Bc8627 Talks by non scientific sources is not a matter of interest for me.

Evidence we have so far says the virus is relatively stable genetically, in particular the surface proteins (https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.04.27.064774v1), all the infected develop antibodies (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32350462/), it is speculated that immunity can last long like with SARS-CoV (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26954467/) which shares a huge part of the genome.

As a plus, there are like 100 vaccine candidates already in developed, we'd have to be extremely unlucky for all this to be wrong and none of these vaccines to work.

I don't know how it can be compared with HIV that mutates constantly, or flu and colds that are caused by a plethora of many different viruses, that often also mutate faster and/or don't grant long term immunity.

Covid-19 is now soaring in Sweden they choose not to have a Lockdown and are now paying the price for their gamble in their people's lives, if we can't find a (1) Vaccine and (2) A Treatment I think this age will be called the beginning of the end.
