Does society put too much emphasis on getting a job to keep people in line?

If you want stuff WORK. When you have money no one keeps you in line. When your flat broke you do as you are told.

We sell ourselves to companies for a slice of bread and butter. We need to sell and market ourselves in order to stay alive. We are slaves to our employers and to the system itself.

Yep... Very much.... Make people put themselves in debt and have them work 40 years to pay it off

The thing is that all people are being pushed to do things that they don't want, so when they grow old they do the same to the rest of the world because they feel like that's what they deserve. It's a bad cycle... I've heard so many people say things that no human with a heart should.
