Why are so many college aged “adults” so whiny and entitled, complaining about their bosses?

Especially when they’re the ones showing up late to work or not doing their work. 🤔🤔

They're the same ones who complained about their teachers while not doing the work they were assigned, or even trying. There are also some young people who complain about their teachers and have quite legitimate complaints, and this extends into adulthood. So judge people as individuals. But there is a problem with a lot of people thinking they can get a reward for no effort. Where they learned it, I don't know.

Gen Z probably isn't as bad overall as its reputation would suggest... but there certainly are those kids who are like that.

Yeah I think there’s good and bad with every generation. And not all are this way but yeash! There sure are a lot!@Stephanie1975

The major changes have more to do with the change in relationship Americans have with work altogether. And the young ones are a bit ahead of the curve - they’ve figured out what the rest of us are just catching up on.

There is no loyalty, and the company doesn’t give a shit about you. Reframe the amount of shit you give to compensate.

And stop giving it unpaid overtime.

Entitled. That says it all pretty much. They’re used to dealing with their parents and see employers as an extension of that relationship.
Still living with mom and dad?
