This is what I found so far

@SW-User Right - and social media is changing a lot of behaviours. Like your generation has less sex and does fewer drugs than previous ones, likely because you're having fun online instead of in parking lots.

But superficiality is just something I've heard too much of. I know plenty of superficial old people, who were all accused of the same thing when they were young in the 60s or whenever.

With that survey - was it a random sample? What were the questions? Like, if they just ask their customers, there may be all sorts of weird ideas about phones in their customer base.

But the survey goes big because people want to believe that stuff. It suits their beliefs to believe kids these days care more about phones than stuff that matters - even if they vote WAY more than previous generations' kids and have way way way less money.

lol sorry for the wall of text. I have opinions apparently. The short is I have a higher opinion of most youth than I do most of the older generation.
