I Know It Was The Hardest Thing I Have Ever Had To Do
OK. Here is my list of hardest things I ever had to do, in no particular order:
Caregiver to a dying, elderly parent (now long gone but never forgotten).
Generating the energy needed to engage in daily life while suffering from a bout of depression (eventually emerged out of the depression).
Being the parent of a rebellious teenager sucked into the orbit of a cult (eventual reconciliation).
Sticking with a not-so-great marriage (it got better).
Earning my PhD at night while working days and raising kids (it took seven years).
Resolving to get super fit in 2019 (the jury is still out on this one).
