Your lucky woman to be able to enjoy the simple things in life, that is so very important.

Enjoy your son as long as you have him for.

@Kimtime thanks!

Sounds like your a great mom. Your son is a lucky guy

@missit15 thank you

It sounds like you have what you need. People generally have too much "stuff" and spend all their life trying to get more "stuff" instead of just enjoying what they do have.

You sound like a very good parent, we aren't all perfect but at least trying to do right is all we can do. I was lucky my wife and I had 6 kids (combined family) and they all turned out great, hared working kids that paid for their own education. Now most make more money than we do.

You don't need a fortune to be happy. Enjoying life is the most important and being true to yourself and others.

@acpguy 6 kids? Your last name isn't Brady, is it? 😂
acpguy · C
@lilcountrygrl Nah...I never wanted kids when I was young but I really miss having them around now. They all work so darn hard or moved away we rarely see them anymore. They were a lot of fun when they were little and in the house.

Sounds pretty perfect. He'll grow up appreciating all the things most don't realise how lucky they are to have, like a loving home and sincere hugs
I think it's great that you're able to make a strong connection like that. Devices are taking us away from each other.

Awesome, the less junk you have cluttering your world the more life you can have/see.

Your son is really lucky to have a mom like you :)

Communication ... at its finest :)

Is your tiny house one of the intentionally-built new tiny houses? Or simply a smaller home? Not that one is necessarily better than the other.
hlpflwthat · M
'ridiculously overpriced small trailers'

I'm shocked when I do the price per foot at the end of those shows - all in the name of some sort of 'freedom?' I haven't a particularly large or small home. I am in the process of decluttering - constantly.
@hlpflwthat What is the difference with those?
hlpflwthat · M
@froggtongue Between a small conventional house and a tiny home? Most importantly - real estate. Resale value would be next, followed by the tiny resale market I'd have to guess.

You sound like a good mom :)

Awesome!

How tiny is your house? I ask, because I'm thinking of downsizing my own crib for less maintenance, insurance, taxes, etc.
