I learned that lesson early, anymore I judge nobody until I've met them frequently for 6 months.

First impressions are not lasting impressions no matter what people say about first impressions.

I try to always give the benefit of the doubt for this very reason.

So very true. Many people have a hidden dark side. Others, it is just a matter of getting to know them well enough to see that they are walking contradictions.
