I Am A Strict Mom

I am, does that make me evil? No. Does that make me a bad mother? Absolutely not. In fact, my daughter who also chats here would I believe tell everyone that I love her dearly, I just have rules and consequences for breaking those rules. I see far too often parents wanting to be best friends with their child, giving in for everything. My daughter is well taken are of. My mother was just as I am, and I see no reason to change methods when I can honestly say it worked very well with me when I was a teenager.

If that makes you evil and a bad mother, it makes me evil and a bad mother too, as I would characterise my ways of parenting with the same words yoo use to describe yourself!
So, you and I are either evil or good mothers. I tend to believe the latter!

I'm my mom as well for much the same reasons. The way she raised me and my sisters just works! Even if at first I swore I would be different in the end I came back to what works. Hopefully my kids learn faster than I did lol
