I Am A Strict Mom

Has anyone ever had a hairbrush wear out after a lot of years of use as a tool to correct misbehavior? I'm wondering what I should do with the brush I got from my own mom it's seen a lot of wear now and while it isn't the only one I use it has a lot of sentimental value to me. Perhaps it's time to retire it?

I had my mum's hairbrush on my bare bottom a few times, but it didn't wear out. Mind you, it wasn't the only thing my mum used to spank me with.

@MaryDreamilton I have never understood the slipper or shoe. Why would you want something dirty and unclean on your bottom???? My mom used her hand and a yardstick. My dad used whatever was at hand. His belt was his favorite though.

@Musicman Believe me, the slipper is as common a spanking implement as the hairbrush or belt, or it was in the days when I was spanked regularly.

@MaryDreamilton I just looked at your profile. You are from the UK. From what I read you are totally correct. In America they were not. UK also used the cane. In America we used a switch. It's all just minor differences
