I Am A Strict Mom

Has anyone ever had a hairbrush wear out after a lot of years of use as a tool to correct misbehavior? I'm wondering what I should do with the brush I got from my own mom it's seen a lot of wear now and while it isn't the only one I use it has a lot of sentimental value to me. Perhaps it's time to retire it?

@stick57 it broke alone the grain line... sadly that was the last nail in the coffin that lead to me being upgraded to the belt

@Madgirl Oh well! Maybe you could have relaxed and softened your steel buns more!

Look on the bright side! The belt stings more and covers both cheeks at once but bruises less!

@Alfred22 not something i would have told the boys on my block lol... and it was just a regular boring leather belt.. nothing fancy but it hit like a thunderstruck
